Wanna talk about Ringing School of Art and Design...do it here...just keep your freshman questions elsewhere, we're tired of reading the same crap everyday

First of all there are two kinds of people in this comm.
1. Freshman/High school students that post questions about college that have little to no effect on the Ringling collective. These questions are tiresome and probably could be answered yourself if you just wait till you get to college or think about it for two seconds.
2. The people that are tired of the people in group #1 and want them to go away or bring up a legit topic that reflects ringling or those involved in the school.
If you feel you may fall into group 1 or just don't want to deal w/ those from group 2 please direct your questions here:
Note. even if you don't see your question here, it still maybe deleted.
i am going to send in my application soon and i was wondering.. they want to see a lot of observation drawing [still life, figures, ect] correct?
I don't think i'll be able to attend rsad without some financial help so i want to really beef up my portfolio in hopes of possibly earning a scholarship. Do many students get very much financial aid from the school?
No, nor are there many legit art scholarships period. I suggest you start looking into private loans or start shaking down distant relatives.
it says on the website to submit your portfolio in slide format.
does anyone know if it's okay for me to send it in a CD ROM?
